Terms and Conditions
The conditions for using this website, and where the information on it stops.
Last updated: 2 August 2026
What these terms cover
These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses this website. By using the site, you accept them.
They concern the website itself. They are not the terms for our services: what we do for a client, at what price and under which arrangements, is set out in the agreement with that client. You do not enter into an agreement and you do not buy anything through this website.

What we do
Business Centrum handles personnel administration for employers: payroll processing, Dimona (the Belgian immediate employment declaration), employment contracts, leave and the follow-up that goes with it. We work together with recognised social secretariats and are a recognised partner of Acerta; the filings towards the NSSO, the Belgian National Social Security Office, run through that secretariat.
Business Centrum is not itself a recognised social secretariat. We run your personnel administration and work with a recognised social secretariat, which files the declarations with the NSSO.
This website provides general information on those matters. It replaces neither legal, tax or accounting advice, nor an examination of your specific file.
The information on this website
We compile the content with care and update it when the rules change. Even so, every page remains a general explanation. Your situation depends on your joint committee, your sector, the applicable collective labour agreements and the facts of your file.
- Amounts, pay scales, thresholds, contribution rates, meal voucher values, bonuses and fines are indicative and apply as at the date on which the page was written. They change through legislation, indexation, collective labour agreements and decisions of your joint committee.
- Fines and penalties we mention are indicative amounts from the regulations. The inspection services and the court assess each case separately, so the amount may turn out higher or lower than what is stated here.
- We publish no rates for our own services on this website. You get a price in a quote, after a conversation about your file.
- If you want to rely on a figure or a rule, check it with us first or verify it with the competent authority.
- Figures about our own operation, such as the number of clients, the number of declarations or the number of years we have been active, are rounded and updated periodically. Ask us and we will explain what they are based on.
The calculators and the compliance check
The gross-net calculator and the compliance check show an order of magnitude. They work with simplified assumptions and with what you fill in yourself.
The result is not a payroll calculation, not a legal assessment and not evidence. It does not take your full situation into account and no rights can be derived from it. What you fill in stays in your browser: we do not receive that data and we do not store it.
Liability
We give no guarantee that the information on this website is complete, correct and up to date, nor that the site is always available or works without errors. Maintenance, a technical failure or a fault at a supplier may interrupt the site temporarily.
We are not liable for damage arising from the use of this website or from decisions anyone takes on the basis of the information on it, unless that damage results from our intent or our gross negligence. This limitation does not apply to damage to life or physical integrity, nor to anything the law does not allow to be excluded.
This limitation does not affect what we agree with our clients in their agreement. What is set out there applies to our services.
Links to other websites
Where we refer to another website, it is to help you further. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, their offering or the way they handle your data.
Linking to our site is allowed, as long as no confusion arises about who we are and the link does not open within a frame of another site.
Intellectual property
The texts, photos, illustrations, video, design, logos and the structure of this website are protected. They belong to Business Centrum or to the parties that granted us the right of use.
You may view the site, print pages for your own use and refer to it. Reproducing, copying, adapting or reusing it for your own commercial purposes is not allowed without our written permission. Short quotations are allowed, with a source reference and a link.
The names and logos of other companies on this site remain the property of their owners and are there only to show a partnership.
What you may not do
If you find a security vulnerability in this website, report it to the email address at the top of this page before making it public. We look at every report.
- Use the website or the form for anything other than what they are meant for, or overload them.
- Collect data from the site by automated means in order to publish it elsewhere or reuse it commercially.
- Test or circumvent the security without our prior written permission.
- Send unlawful, abusive or misleading content through the form.
The contact form
What you send us must be correct and must be yours to send. Do not send special categories of personal data through the form, such as health data, a national register number or employees' payslips. Ask us for a secure channel and we will arrange it.
A message through the form is a question, not an instruction and not an agreement. We are only bound once we have expressly accepted an assignment.
Vacancies
A vacancy on this site is an invitation to apply, not an offer of an employment contract. No right to be hired can be derived from a publication, an interview or a test assignment. How we handle your application data is set out in the privacy policy.
Personal data and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Which cookies this site places is set out in our cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.
Changes
We may amend this website and these terms. The version that applies is the version on the site at the time of your visit. The date at the top states when it was last amended.
Applicable law and competent court
Belgian law applies to these terms.
We first put a dispute on the table together. If we cannot work it out, the courts of the judicial district of East Flanders, Ghent division, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, the court assigned to you by law remains competent.
Mediation for consumers
If you are a consumer and we cannot work it out together, you can turn to the Consumer Mediation Service, the Belgian federal body for consumer disputes. The European ODR platform no longer exists: it was shut down on 20 July 2025.
