Business Centrum editorial team
Business Centrum is a social office in Ghent. Since 2013 we have run payroll for more than 300 SMEs in East Flanders, together with Acerta. On this site we answer the questions employers ask most: pay, contracts, sickness, dismissal and the rules of their joint committee.

A real question
Every article starts from a concrete question employers have and answers it in the first paragraph.

Every figure checked
Every amount, percentage and deadline is checked against an official source: FPS Employment, NSSO, Justel, FPS Finance, NEO or the sector fund. Internally we keep them in a register with source and date.

Kept current
With every indexation and change in the law we review the register and update the articles. The top of each article shows when the figures were last checked.
- 04
Honest about doubt
If an amount only comes from a sector agreement not yet officially published, we say so in the text.
