De deeltijds tewerkgestelde werknemer moet, voor eenzelfde werk of een werk van dezelfde waarde, een loon ontvangen dat in verhouding staat tot dat van een voltijds tewerkgesteld werknemer, en dit overeenkomstig artikel 9 van de collectieve arbeidsovereenkomst nr. 35 van 27 februari 1981 betreffende sommige bepalingen van het arbeidsrecht inzake deeltijdse arbeid, algemeen verbindend verklaard bij koninklijk besluit van 21 september 1981.
