For employers with flexi-jobbers
Flexi-job payroll: from framework agreement to wages
Flexi-job payroll means checking whether your sector and your candidate qualify, drafting the framework agreement, filing the Dimona FLX and processing the flexi-wage and contributions. Business Centrum takes that off your hands, in hospitality and since 1 July 2026 in almost every other sector too. You schedule, we handle the rest.
What a flexi-job asks of you as an employer
A flexi-job costs less than a regular contract, but only if everything is right:
What a flexi-jobber is and what he earns is explained on the flexi-jobber status page.
A sector that takes part
Flexi-jobs are open to almost every sector. A few remain excluded or limited. The situation per committee is in our news item on flexi-jobs in all sectors.
A candidate who qualifies
Three quarters earlier, the flexi-jobber worked at least 4/5 of a full-time job with other employers, or is retired. In the same quarter, he does not also work for you on a regular contract.
Framework agreement and Dimona FLX
Before the first shift you sign a written framework agreement, and before the start you file a Dimona FLX. How that declaration works is explained under the Dimona for a flexi-jobber.
Wages and contributions
In hospitality at least € 12.11 per hour, elsewhere the wage scale of the job. On top come 7.67% flexi holiday pay and a special employer contribution of 28%. A worked example is in what a flexi-job costs the employer.
What Business Centrum takes over for you
This is what we take over:
- Checking per candidate whether a flexi-job is allowed: sector, committee and work elsewhere
- Drafting the framework agreement
- Every Dimona FLX, per quarter or per day
- Flexi-wage, flexi holiday pay and the special contribution in the same payroll run as your permanent staff
- The returns and contributions, through Acerta
- What a flexi-jobber costs you, before you schedule him
What is left for you
You tell us who works when. We call you if a candidate does not qualify.
Business Centrum is a payroll and HR office and your fixed contact in Ghent. Returns to the NSSO go through Acerta, a recognised social secretariat.
In hospitality or beyond
The basic rules are the same everywhere. The difference lies in the wage and the sector rules:
In hospitality
Flexi-jobs under JC 302 have their own minimum wage and often run alongside casual workers and students. For that whole picture there is payroll for restaurants.
Beyond hospitality
In retail, transport or an SME, the flexi-wage follows the wage scale of the job in your committee. In construction, a sector agreement partly excludes flexi-work on site.

Flexi-job payroll: frequently asked questions
Do I need a social secretariat for a flexi-job?
No, you may file the Dimona FLX and the returns yourself. A flexi-job does have its own rules on wages, contributions and conditions, which you check for each candidate.
Can I use flexi-jobbers in my sector?
Since 1 July 2026, in almost every sector. A few are excluded or limited, such as agriculture and domestic staff. We check it for your committee.
Can one of my own employees also do a flexi-job for me?
Not in a quarter in which he works for you on a regular contract. The NSSO does not accept that combination as a flexi-job.
What does a flexi-jobber cost me?
The flexi-wage, plus 7.67% flexi holiday pay and a special contribution of 28% on both. Reductions such as the structural reduction do not apply.
