Payroll in Brussels: your staff administration with Business Centrum

Looking for payroll in Brussels? Business Centrum takes over your staff administration from Ghent, with Acerta as the recognised social secretariat. Brussels is a region of its own, with other target group reductions than Flanders and documents in each employee's language. We handle salaries, Dimona and contracts, and you always call the same contact.

What Business Centrum takes over for your business in Brussels

From payroll administration to switching providers, this is what we take over:

  • Determining the right joint committee
  • Salaries every month, with indexation and sector bonuses
  • Every Dimona on time, also for casual workers and students
  • Contracts for blue-collar and white-collar staff
  • Holidays, sickness and absences
  • The quarterly return and NSSO contributions, through Acerta
  • The switch from your current social secretariat

What is left for you

You tell us who works and what changes. We call you if something does not add up.

Business Centrum is a payroll and HR office and your fixed contact in Ghent. Returns to the NSSO go through Acerta, a recognised social secretariat.

What is different in Brussels compared with Flanders

Your workplace in Brussels decides which language and which reductions apply:

  1. Documents in the employee's language

Under the language laws of 18 July 1966, an employer based in Brussels drafts staff documents in Dutch for Dutch-speaking employees and in French for French-speaking ones. A translation may be added if the make-up of the staff justifies it. At the start, we record the language of each employee's documents.

  2. Other target group reductions

Regional reductions follow the workplace where the employee works. Brussels abolished activa.brussels from 15 July 2026; for a contract signed earlier, the subsidy runs until 31 December 2026. The Brussels reduction for older workers ended on 1 July 2026.

  3. What applies everywhere

The federal reduction for the first employee also applies in Brussels: up to € 2,000 per quarter.

How we work with you from Brussels

You do not need to come to Ghent to work with us:

  1. Remotely, and by appointment in Ghent

You pass on hours and absences by email or phone; the returns go to the NSSO through Acerta. To meet in person, you come to Doornzelestraat 23-25: 59 km via the E40, 55 minutes without traffic, or 51 minutes by train from Brussels Central.

How to start from Brussels

  1. Get acquainted

By phone or at our office: how many people, which joint committee, which language, what is in place today?

  2. Set up

We open your file with Acerta and handle the switch.

  3. Every month

You pass on the hours worked, we do the rest.
