For transport and logistics companies
Payroll for transport companies: drivers and staff paid right, via Business Centrum and Acerta
Payroll for transport companies in Belgium means working with two committees: JC 140.03 for your drivers and warehouse staff, JC 226 for your white-collar staff. Business Centrum takes that payroll off your hands, from the Dimona to the payslip and the quarterly return. You keep your time for planning and customers.
Which committee applies to your staff
The committee sets the pay scale, the premiums and the bonuses:
Driving times, tachograph and the rest of the sector are on our transport page and in the JC 140 guide.
Drivers and warehouse: JC 140.03
Road transport and logistics for third parties fall under JC 140.03, with separate scales for driving and non-driving staff. All hourly wages are in the JC 140.03 pay scale.
Ground handling: JC 140.04
Ground handling at airports has its own subcommittee, JC 140.04, with its own pay scale.
White-collar staff: JC 226
White-collar staff of a transport or logistics company usually fall under JC 226. The minimum in the lowest class, without seniority, is € 2,574.27 a month since 1 January 2026. More in our guide to JC 226.
What Business Centrum takes over for your transport company
This is what we take over:
- Every employee under the right committee: JC 140.03, JC 140.04 or JC 226
- Working time, availability time, Sunday work and subsistence allowances in the pay
- Contracts for drivers, warehouse staff and white-collar staff
- Every Dimona on time, also for a short replacement
- The quarterly return and NSSO contributions, via Acerta
- Leave, sickness and absences
What is left for you
You pass on the hours worked, nights away and absences. We call you if something is not right.
Business Centrum is a payroll and HR office and your fixed contact in Ghent. Returns to the NSSO go through Acerta, a recognised social secretariat.
What makes a driver's pay different
Three JC 140.03 rules that end up in the payslip every month:
Working time and availability time
The pay scale is based on a week of 38 hours. You pay availability time at 99% of the basic hourly wage, work on Sundays and public holidays at 200%.
One index a year
Wages follow the index once a year: by 2.18% on 1 January 2026. The next adjustment is on 1 January 2027.
The end-of-year bonus via the fund
The Social Fund for Transport and Logistics pays your manual workers' end-of-year bonus: 5% of the gross wages you declared to the NSSO in the reference period. A mistake in the return is a mistake in the bonus.
